Team Manager's Requests:
The first Welsh Junior League (East)match of this season is being held at Cardiff International Stadium on Sunday April 5th. This league is for athletes in the Under 11, Under 13 and Under 15 age groups.
The aim of the league is to introduce athletes to athletics and give them opportunities to try events they have not done before as well as take part in the events they are training for.
The first field event is the hammer and that starts at 11.00am and the first event on the track is the 1km walk and that starts at 11.45am. The final event of the day is at 4.55pm and that is the Under 15
boys 4x100m relay.
If you would like to compete for the club in this league please contact the team managers for these age groups. They are Kay Chapman (GIRLS) 07749 716151 and Mark Muller (BOYS) 07773 678044. Please let them know what you would like to compete in as soon as possible.
The second league match is on Saturday 22nd May in Hereford.
As the first match is a home match we are hoping family and friends will come along and support the athletes. Let's make the first fixture a winning fixture! We are aiming to repeat last season's success and get through to the Welsh Athletics Cup Final in Brecon in August.
