Cardiff finished a respectable sixth in a competition that was dominated by home club Birchfield Harriers, with local rivals Swansea a creditable third.
The match result was: 1. Birchfield (946 points); 2. Rugby & Northants (890.5); 3.Swansea (811); 4. City of Stoke (776.5); 5. Notts AC (729.5); 6. Cardiff AAC (587.5); 7. Cheltenham H (510); 8. Charnwood AC (396).
