Round 3 for NJAL team

Cardiff's bid to regain its positon in the Midland Premier Division of the National Junior League continues on Sunday next, 27 June, when the team travels to Coventry.

Lying joint first with Plymouth after two rounds, the team is well placed to qualify for the promotion match in Derby on 29th August.

Team managers Debbie Bull and Julie Regan are hoping to field a good team but need the support of all athletes to ensure that the team maintains its position.

Captains for the day will be Gareth Winter and Hannah Clarke who can be expected, once again, to lead by example.

Congratulations go to Jacob Matthews who was awarded the overall Athlete of the Match in round two for his winning performance in the shot put.
