Half marathon bids

The re-vamped and re-launched Cardiff Half Marathon takes place on Sunday next, 18th October, with the 9 o'clock start and finish at the City Hall.

Bidding for possible victory in a bigger than ever field of 11,000 will be experienced club athlete Mike Johnson (pictured) as well as European Junior silver medallist Simon Lawson.

This year's event incoroporates the Welsh Championship over the distance and both Mike and Simon have realistic chances of medals.

We wish them as well as all other club members taking part good luck.
