Sizzling run from Christian

Cardiff star Christian Malcolm was clocked at 10.15 in winning his semi final of the 100m at today's UK Inter Counties championships in Bedford.

Unfortunately, the wind speed was over the limit at 6.7 m/sec (yes, 6.7) but this should not detract from his performance.

UK Athletics' statistician and athletics expert Ian Hodge, who saw the race, believes that Christian is "80% back to his best form".

Let's hope so as Christian deserves a good year after a few difficult ones.
