Will there be Delhi delight?

After well reported trials and tribulations, the Commonwealth Games have got off to a good start and the Welsh team has settled into their accommodation which they describe as excellent - the first gold medal goes to the team management that ensured this.

Cardiff has six athletes in the team and we shall be following their progress with interest and wish them every possible success.

Can Christian Malcolm and Rhys Williams add to their European medals?

And we also wish good luck to former members Brett Morse and Paul Walker as well as to all the Welsh squad.

Wednesday, 6th:     Christian Malcolm (100m Round 1).
Thursday, 7th:          Christian Malcolm (100m S/F & F).
Friday, 8th:               Joe Thomas & Gareth Warburton (800m Round 1).
Saturday, 9th:         Joe Thomas & Gareth Warburton (800m S/F); Rhys Williams (400mH S/F);
                                  Brett Morse (Discus S/F). Christian Malcolm (200m Round 1).
Sunday 10th:           Joe Thomas & Gareth Warburton (800m F); Christian Malcolm (200m S/F & F);
                                  Rhys Williams (400mH F); Brett Morse (Discus F).
Monday 11th:          James Thie (1500m S/F); Paul Walker (PV F).
Tuesday 12th:         James Thie (1500m F); Bryony Raine (PV F).
