ADVANCE NOTICE
The club's 2010 annual presentation evening and disco will be held on Sunday 12 September from 6.30 to 10.00pm.
Last year´s event was such a great success that a larger venue was needed; so this year it will be at the Earl Haigh Club in Whitchurch.
This annual event is a marvellous opportunity to celebrate the achievements of the past season both for the teams and the individuals who have performed well.
Tickets are only two pounds each and will be available in the club room.
Put this date in your diary and come along and have a great evening.
Peter Stafford was the club’s British League team manager before handing over to James Williams last year.
He also worked for Welsh Athletics as Competition Manager before landing a prestigious job with European Athletics, based in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Cardiff's former general secretary and current membership secretary Kath Elias has been elected as chairman of the Schools' International Athletic Board (SIAB), thus adding a further chapter to her already long and impressive list of achievements in the sport.
Kath is pictured being congratulated by Welsh Athletics President John Penny.
David Guest, who competes for Cardiff's British League team as a higher competition athlete (he is first claim to Bridgend) just missed out on a decathlon medal at the World Junior Championships in Moncton, Canada.
Although amassing a personal best score of 7,691, David could manage only fourth place, missing out after a closely contested event by the agonisingly small margin of 60 points to third placed Marcus Nilsson of Sweden.
Cardiff's Ffion Bodilly was the only Welsh winner in the schools international held in Glasgow last Saturday, 17th July.
In tricky conditions, Ffion, 15, won the high jump with a leap of 1.70m, only one centimetre short of her personal best of 1.71m, which she set in a Young Athletes League competition and which puts her into equal third place in the current UK under 17 rankings.

Cardiff's Young Athletes' League team has qualified for the area final in Birmingham on 1st August after an anxious wait for the result of rival Yate's match; which would decide which club would go through.
Cardiff sprinter and Welsh international Melanie Stephenson's father Derrick has cycled 250 miles from North to South Wales to raise more than £350 for the charity Diabetes UK.
He took on this challenge as Melanie is diabetic, having been diagnosed with the Type 1 version nine years ago, when she was 13.
Cardiff's international 400m hurdler Rhys Williams took time out on Monday last, 12th July, to pass on some words of advice to three of Cardiff's young sprinter/hurdlers.
Rhys is pictured at the club's home stadium with Rebecca Foley, Lara Durani and Tom Phillips, all of whom are coached by Helen James who arranged the session.
The Welsh under 20 and under 17 championships were held in Carmarthen on Saturday last, 10th July and Cardiff athletes topped the medal table with no fewer than 36 medals, including 15 gold.
Pictured is Lewis Newton who won the under 20 pole vault with 4.20m.
Jamaul Whyte celebrated his selection as Welsh schools' team captain by winning both the under 17 age group 100m and the 200m.
Cardiff AAC sprinter Jamaul Whyte (pictured) has been chosen as captain of the Welsh Schools' boys' team to contest the Schools International in Glasgow on Saturday next, 17th July.
The club provides no fewer than 16 of the boys' and girls' team and follows their medal winning successes at the Welsh Schools' championship held in Brecon on 3rd July.
Congratulations to all and good luck in Glasgow.
