Championship deadlines

Welsh championships are important steps in an athlete's development so do not miss the entry dates. The closing date for the Under 17 and Under 20 championships is only 7 days away, on 29 May, and all Cardiff AAC athletes are encouraged to take part. Whatever your level of ability or experience, championships are an excellent way to judge progress and fitness and should be automatic dates in every athlete's competition schedule.

Details are as follows:

Under 17 & Under 20 championships:    7th June - Newport:   entry closing date 29th May. Entry fee £6.50
Senior championships:                            13th June - Cardiff:      entry closing date 5th June.   Entry fee £8.50
Under 13 & Under 15 championships:   11th July - Cardiff:       entry closing date 3rd July.    Entry fee £6.50
Senior 10,000m championship:            5th August - Neath:     entry closing date 31 July.    Entry fee £8.50

Entry fees are per event.

Entries have to be made on line via Welsh Athletics website which can be accessed directly by clicking on the Welsh Athletics logo underneath the menu on the left side of the screen. To go directly to the championships entry page click on ENTRIES.
